Mission Statement for the North American Province
We, the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood, an international congregation of Catholic women religious, are called by God to live the Paschal mystery and to proclaim the Good News of Christ’s love to all people, especially to those who do not know Christ.
We glorify God by our service and our witness to the saving mission of Christ so that all may have the fullness of life.
What kind of spirit should animate my Red Sisters?
A Red Sister must be like a young woman among the Allemans, who even in suffering and affliction can still smile, and who can still be quick after a heavy day’s work. Everywhere and at any time, within the convent yard as in the stable, at sewing and mowing machine, one must see that this religious woman is a “Schmelg” and a ”Sputel”.

“Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood”
live at the heart of the Paschal Mystery;
we are not just a “workforce” but women who live surrender.

Here on earth, it seems as if nothing is accomplished without struggle and even less so in heaven. Yet, I do not lose courage for a moment. Pray for me in this regard that God’s will be done in us and strengthen us. – Father Founder
